First Tee Open

Gary Player and Ben Crenshaw are returning to Pebble Beach. The duo recently confirmed their appearances for this year's Walmart First Tee Open, slated for Aug.31-Sept. 6.

Player, a nine-time major winner (three U.S. Opens), hasn't played in the event since 2006. Crenshaw, winner of the 1995 Masters, finished in a tie for 21st last year. Also confirming was Scott Hoch. Hoch will be making his debut.

The event features 78 Champions Tour players competing side-by-side with 78 juniors.
