Entry applications for the 2010 U.S. Open, scheduled June 14-20 at Pebble Beach Golf Links, are now available.

A record 9,086 entries - from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and 71 foreign countries - were submitted to the USGA for the 2009 U.S. Open at Bethpage Black in New York. The previous entry record was 9,048 for the 2005 U.S. Open at Pinehurst No.2.

The U.S. Open is open to any player with an established handicap index of 1.4.
