Spyglass Hill is set on a beautiful piece of real estate. The most interesting occurrence of this course is that it starts out along the ocean, with five "link style" holes offering beautiful scenery. Ocean vistas are vast, beautiful bay, rugged coast. Two Pebble Beach land marks are also visible, the Cypress Point Club and Bird Rock. Once you get to the sixth hole the course completely changes, moving away from the ocean, into a thick pine forest. Cathedral tree lined holes are very long and the hard undulating greens are hard to read. There is no doubt that it is one of the hardest courses on the Monterey Peninsula, bring your A game.
